First Birthday Surprises
Aunty Justine came to visit for Claudia's first birthday. Here are the girls on Thursday August 5th 1999
Grandpa and Grandma Helen came too. Claudia wasn't quite so sure about them...
Being 1 is looking pretty good so far - Claudia on her first birthday, playing with the effects of gravity.
(Almost) All the family went out to celebrate Claudia's first birthday at Bastings Restaurant in Northcote. Here we all are - Nanna, Daddy, me, Mummy, Aunty Justine, Aunty Sandy (Mummy's godmother/Nanna's cousin and friend), Grandpa, Grandad, Grandma Helen. Mummy suggested this is not a flattering photo of anybody.

At my party. Mummy and Daddy hired the creche so they wouldn't have to child-proof the house. Lucky, as it rained the whole day.
When I got home, I tried to break into the fire screen. Then I tried to eat it.
My grandad came to visit on Monday August 9th. It was pretty fun. I'm glad we have this photo because he had a stroke the next morning and can't pick me up like this anymore.
Getting older
Neroli and Jonathan gave me this hat for my birthday. Daddy says it makes me look like a flowerpot. Mummy just thinks it's cute.
September 11, 1999 I went to Sydney in September for Steve and Amanda's wedding. I took my first steps while we were up there. Here I am teasing everyone.
I love it when "Aunty" Gaby comes to play!
Nanna gave me this ride-on toy for my first birthday. I love to tear around the house on it.
October 9, 1999 Mummy and Daddy took me to the park to have some wonderful photos taken. I was a bit scared of the man with the camera but he still got some great pictures. Then we went and played in the playground and Mummy took some more photos. This is one of her favourites. I had some lovely little "bloomers" on under my dress.
October 16, 1999 Here is my Nanna again, at the North Balwyn Village "Spring Festival" celebrations.
November 9, 1999 Every year, Mummy and Daddy go to the Zoo on their wedding anniversary. When I am good, I get to go too. In 1999 I was not very good, all I wanted to do was push my pram (crookedly) and run away from them. I like to go to the Zoo.
Here I am at the Zoo with Mummy and a biscuit. We are sitting on the Platypus Lawns, which is where Mummy and Daddy got married.
And here I am with Daddy and a Seagull.

Now I am 2 and evil Mummy still hasn't got any more recent photos up here. That's because: we don't have a digital camera (poor excuse) we've lost a film or 2 that we wanted to get processed (poor behaviour) we don't have a scanner for the photos other people took then our camera broke & had to go in for repair. Hopefully we will fix some of these soon.
